This Friday, Stonehaven Folk Club welcomes Australian duo Cloudstreet for their first visit to Stonehaven.
Based in Queensland, Nicole Murray and John Thompson have carved themselves a niche internationally as outstanding performers of acoustic folk music. Their vocal harmonies are reminiscent of Steeleye Span and the Seekers. They deliver powerful arrangements of Australian classics and a repertoire that spans the Anglo-Celtic world.
Audiences are bound to enjoy their stunning use of vocal harmony and above all, their compelling sense of fun. Entrance just £5 or £7 for non members, 8:30pm, Lower Community Centre, Bath Street. Tickets now available for Jez Lowe and The Bad pennies on June 15 from Celtic Chords or by calling 764202.
