Stonehaven’s elderly residents were treated to a warm reception from the Stonehaven and District Lions Club last Thursday night as the club laid on their annual Senior Citizens’ Concert in the Town Hall.
The freezing cold weather outside didn’t put a dampener on the entertainment inside and everyone quickly heated things up by clapping their hands and tapping their feet to Lyndsay School of Dance, Steve Hull (on fiddle) and the KC Influence (guitar and sax jazz).
Tea and cakes, washed down by a cheeky nip, were served by the Lions at half time and helped ensure the night finished with a swinging second session full of entertainment and applause from the crowd.
Everyone had a great time and the Lions would like to thank all the acts together with the hall caretaker for helping put on a very successful event. “
