The 39th Annual Stonehaven Arts exhibition opening night was held this past weekend July 27 at the Stonehaven town hall.
The artwork will be on show until August 4 in the Upper Town Hall.
The opening times are Monday-Friday 11am-8pm and at the weekend 10am-5pm.
Artists, organisers and public all gathered at the unveiling on Friday night. The presentation of awards was also held on Friday night.
Six awards were presented on Friday night which included the Rose Bowl for best in the show. Ragnhild Ericsson won the Rose Bowl (best in show) for Dark Clouds, Morag Campbell and Jean Melvile won awards from Gallery at Fifty Five for Morning Mist and Scottish Summer, Lily Taylor won the I Mac Frames Award for Remington, Eileen Barclay won the Aly Baly Award for Megavissy, Cornwall and Jean Melville won the Charles Mc Hardy Award for Little Sunbeam.
Lorna Watson’s artwork ‘Stonehaven Sands’ won the Leader Award chosen by the editorial team at the Leader.
