A local politician has urged community groups in the north-east to apply from a new £2m fund for locally led community projects.
MSP for Aberdeen South and North Kincardine, Maureen Watt, encouraged groups to apply for the Community Choices Fund.
She said: “Empowering local people is important, and one of the best ways to do that is to allow communities to have a say in how money is spent to improve their area.
“Two million is a big money pot, and it would be great to see some of that funding projects locally.
“I would encourage as many groups as possible to act quickly and get their applications in for this fantastic opportunity.”
The closing date is July 29, and applications can be made at Community Choice Fund.
