A Kincardineshire group welcomed visitors from near Perth to a community garden to inspire them to develop their own garden.

On Sunday, June 26, the Brighter Bervie and Bervie Parish Church hosted 25 visitors from the Parish of Aberdalgie and Forteviot - which lies to the south of Perth -to the Voyage of Life Community Garden in Inverbervie.

There is a disused orchard adjecant to Aberdalgie Church, and they visited Bervie to see how the land was used there to create a “peaceful haven in the centre of the community”.

Brighter Bervie chairperson, Tom Campbell, said: “We hope that the folk of Aberdalgie and Forteviot are now even m ore encouraged to proceed with their community garden project and we lok forward to the day soon when we and many others can visit the Aberdalgie garden.”
