Bervie Youth Project are having their Grande Finale on Saturday April 2 with their Awards Night celebration held at The Bervie Chipper.
With the completion of the second successful Winter Project, they are now closed until Winter 2016, where the committee and volunteers hope to be back for more Sports and Youth Cafe fun.
Clocking in with 1500 youth sessions and many workshops since October, 60 members on the books attending Saturday Sports sessions and Youth cafe, adventure sports sessions and even a Pizza Workshop with Butternut Catering, all activities are offered free to all members and are funded through Sponsorship and funding.
Chairperson and volunteer Caroll Evans said this week that the club are looking to trial a community team and are looking for the community to get behind them to make it a success.
She said: “We have been really lucky to secure funding from these generous local business’, the money is put to good use and each month our costs are £250 to run these activities free for all our youth members.
“We have set up a community team as a trial this year and the hope is our community team will support local events, groups and activities as well as learn new skills and have some fun.
