As more and more people restrict their reading to what is on their Kindle or iPad there is the danger that the feel of a book, sitting turning the pages and browsing through the chapters will be lost. St James’ Church is hoping to stem the rush to electronic readers by introducing the ‘Book Browse’.
This will be a chance to sit with a cup of coffee or tea (free!!) and browse through as many of the books on offer as you wish. The books are all in good condition and are offered at a reasonable price. The range is from the very young to the more mature reader and covers all genres.
All are welcome to join us at the ‘Book Browse’ on Saturday, November 10 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at St James’ Church Hall, Arbuthnott Street (next to the White Bridge over Carron).
