Chloe Jackson from Stonehaven held a coffee morning last week and wishes to thank all the residents and businesses for helping her raise over £300.
The 20-year-old held a coffee morning on Saturday, August 1 in the St Bridget’s Hall in aid of Brain Tumour Research.
The charity is close to Chloe’s heart and she is not only raising funds through organising different fundraising events this summer but is setting out to do a sponsored skydive!.
Chloe’s efforts in doing the coffee morning raised £302. She would like to thank the following local businesses of for donating such fantastic prizes; Specsavers Stonehaven, The Carron Restaurant, Castleton Farm shop, Molly Gunnings Bistro, Alli Bali, Harmony Beauty, Beauty 53, Cullinare, Nickel and Dime, Gift corner and also the CO-OP on David Street.
She would also like to thank stall holders Julie Gray (Cornucopia business) and Andrea Gray (Havensent candles) for taking a stall and donating a prize into the raffle.
Chloe said: “The day could not have been made a success either without the help from family and friends on the day, St Bridgets Church, and also the people who came to take part in the event.”
