Royal Burgh of Inverbervie Community Council September update
Things are fairly quiet at the Community Council at the moment. We are putting forward a plan of action on Roads related affairs, which we hope will lead to some noticeable improvements, though we expect this will take time. Working in conjuction with our neighbours in Gourdon, we have agreed an updated boundary between the new Community Council areas. This means the forthcoming new development at Hallgreen Mains, south of West Park, comes under the Royal Burgh of Inverbervie footprint.
RBICC also congratulated Brighter Bervie on their excellent work in and around the Royal Burgh. The Voyage of Life garden is a triumph and the positive promotion of Inverbervie through being featured on the Beechgrove Garden is a coup. The programme highlighted our strong community spirit and our potential as desirable destination for visitors. If anyone has not seen the show yet, I would encourage you to catch up via BBC iPlayer.
The next meeting of the Community Council will be on Monday October 12 at 7.30pm in the Burgh Chambers (above the library in Church Street). As ever, all residents are welcome. If you have any topic to bring to the meeting, please contact any Community Councillor or e-mail email@example.com.
