A church in Stonehaven has been targeted by vandals, with more damage being caused than in previous attacks.
The St James Episcopal Church, in Arbuthnott Street, found that a large length of wood had been used to smash two 120-year old stained glass windows .
One of the windows, representing St Andrew, will have to be removed so that the leading can be reconstituted over a four-inch hole.
The damage was discovered after people representing the church returned from a day enjoying the Feein’ Market.
There was a minor attack about a month ago, but the damage this time is worse.
Anyone with information should contact the Police on 101.
