Two people arrested in connection with a drug offence in St Cyrus are to appear in court today (Monday, June 13).
A 26-year-old male and a 23-year-old female are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court following the discovery of a cannabis cultivation - with a street value of around £3500 - at a property in the St Cryus area. Officers from the Divisional Alcohol & Violence Reduction (DAVRU) executed a drug search warrant on Friday, June 10.
Sergeant Brian Johnston, of the DAVRU, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to remind the public that any drug related activity will not be tolerated in our communities, and I would urge people to continue providing Police with information that can help detect and deter organised crime in the north-east.
“Anyone with information or concerns should contact 101 or Crimstoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
