Fleeman Productions are putting on a production of Charles Barron’s prize-winning Doric comedy, Fooshion, at Stonehaven Town Hall on Friday, May 22.
This was the play, a funny look at family and friendship in 1990s Aberdeen, that first established Charles Barron as a writer of Doric Drama.
It was the winner of the ‘Mobil Scottish Playwright’s Award’ in 1992.
Before his death in 2012, Charles expressed a desire to see Fooshion produced again for his 80th birthday. Fleeman are doing just that with a tour of the North-east in this, what would have been his 80th year.
Fooshion is directed by Liz Loggie and will feature the talents of Jill Hay, Yvonne Morton, Sheila Reid, Julie Hutton and Scott Neish.
Join them for some delightful Doric disagreements. For further details visit FleemanCompany@aol.co.uk
