Last Thursday saw Stonehaven Town Hall come to life as the Town Hall Trust held their fundraising Spring and Summer Fashion Show.

There were 20 models from the local community and the boys and the children really made it fun.

First, the catwalk was alive with a vibrant display of clothes from the local M&CO and later beautiful outfits from Debenhams in Aberdeen.

two business from Laurencekirk made their debut in Stonehaven. Rainbow Hat and Elizabeth Havens (who is about to open a shop in Stonehaven) had stalls for browsing at the interval.

The Trust was delighted with the response from local businesses who generously supplied great raffle prizes. One prize went unclaimed. It was for a green ticket and if you left early it may be yours. Please call Cheryle on 01569 764719.

The Town Hall Trust Fundraisers will be passing on all profits (approx £1,600) for the benefit of the refurbishment programme.

All in all the event showed that not only does Stonehaven have talent but Stonehaven has the spirit to keep the Town Hall going.

The Stonehaven Town Hall Trust’s next fundraiser will be a Michael Bouble Tribute by Jason Porter and cabaret.

Tickets are on sale from Ma Simpsons and the Barclay Clinic.

the show is on Friday June 17 7.30 for 8pm. Get your tickets early as another sell out is expected!
