A baby and toddler sale which has so far raised more than £1,500 for local good causes will return on Saturday June 6.
The Gourdon New 2 You Sale, of high quality second-hand clothes, toys, games, baby and nursary equipment, will run from 9am to 11am in Gourdon Village Hall on Queen Street.
The sale, which began last year, supports good causes in the area and has so far donated money to Inverbervie Pre-School, Gourdon School and Tadpoles Toddler Group.
This time all proceeds raised will be split between Gourdon School and the Gourdon Lower Play Park Improvement group.
The sale was set up by mums who attend Gourdon’s Tadpoles Toddler group to provide a forum for parents in the area to sell clothes, toys and equipment their children have outgrown, and for others to grab a bargain.
Organiser Lynn Stephen said: “We know how little time items for babies, toddlers and young children last, and many of us have houses bursting with items we no longer need.
“We wanted to give people an opportunity to sell their clothes, toys and equipment locally. We hope people will come along on June 6 to see the great selection on offer – we expect to have items ranging from bikes and outdoor toys to prams and buggies, books and jigsaws, toddler toys and everything you could need for a new baby.
In addition to the children’s and baby goods on offer there will also be a raffle and a selection of home baking available.
Entry is £2 and all money raised will be donated to local good causes. For more details email firstname.lastname@example.org, visit the Facebook page ‘GourdonNew 2 You’, or call into Tadpoles Toddler Group between 10am and 12noon on Fridays in the Gourdon Hall.
