Plans for the annual Hogmanay Ceilidh dance held in Stonehaven Town Hall are well under way.
Dancing will be led by the popular Cabrach ceilidh band with a new line up and lots of new tunes for this year. All dances will be called and everybody is made welcome on the dance floor. There will be a licensed bar so no BYO drink but most folk bring their own snacks.
The ceilidh is organised by the Stonehaven Folk Festival and all profits will go towards next year’s Festival (7-10 July 2016). Tickets for the Hogmanay Ceilidh will be priced £25pp and will go on sale from 1 November by ‘phoning Fiona Kasprowicz on 01569 766151. The ceilidh has always been very popular and sells out well ahead of the night; tickets will not be available on the door. Details are also on the Folk Festival web site – www.stonehavenfolkfestival.co.uk.
