Local funeral directors, MacIntosh & Steven of 5 Arbuthnott Place, Stonehaven, are holding an open day for local people interested in learning about the benefits of the Dignity Funeral Plan.
The open day will be held on Wednesday November 4 between 10am and 2pm and the friendly and approachable staff will be on hand to answer any questions that people may have. Light refreshments will also be available to those attending the open day.
“One in five of the funerals we conduct have already been pre-arranged and paid for,” explained Funeral Service Arranger, Angie Greig. “People often purchase a funeral plan to make sure their loved ones don’t have to make difficult decisions about their funeral arrangements. Other people purchase a Dignity Funeral Plan from us so that they can make provisions towards their funeral costs at today’s prices. This means that in these times of financial uncertainty, their loved ones are saved from paying for the majority of the funeral.”
Funeral plans were first introduced in the UK in 1985 and to date, over 1.1 million people have purchased a funeral plan from a registered FPA provider.
Angie continued: “We are inviting people who are interested in finding out more about funeral plans to come to MacIntosh & Steven where my colleagues and I will be available to answer any questions you may have.”
People attending the funeral plan open day will receive a discount voucher entitling them to £100 off the Dignity Funeral Plan.
