A man has died following a crash near Catterline this morning.
Police Scotland can confirm that the driver of a lorry which was on the unclassified road to Catterline this morning has died.
The 72 year old man was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he sadly died.
A Police spokesperson said: “We can formally name him as Harold Waterworth who was from the Arbroath area.”
Police were called to the incident at approximately 8.20am this morning (Thursday 17 December 2015).
