The Grassic Gibbon Centre is getting ready to open up for the 2016 season with events already planned for the popular Mearns attraction.
The Centre, which is a not-for-profit social enterprise, has a Coffee Shop, Exhibition and Gift shop and is open every day between 10am and 4.30pm until the end of October.
Tickets for the annual supper of the ‘Friends of the Grassic Gibbon Centre’ on Saturday, March 26, are now available. The guest speaker this year is Douglas Cusine.
Tickets for the supper cost £20 each and are available from the Centre.

The centre also has a ‘Football in Question’ event planned for April that will feature Willie Millie. The event is scheduled for April 26 at 7.30pm with a supper included.
The centre has also hosted the successful Mearns Connection Festival for the last few years which included actress Eileen McCallum last year.
