A recruitment day for people to apply for jobs on the spot and an open day for the public to look around Edenholme Care Home takes place on Saturday, September 12 in Stonehaven.
The event which takes place between 2pm and 6pm, will provide the opportunity to speak to staff and residents and find out about the facilities whether you plan to work in, live in or visit the home.
The recruitment day is a joint event between NHS Grampian and Aberdeenshire Council to recruit staff. Several full and part time roles available and include eight Care assistants (35hrs 28hrs and 21hrs roles) and nursing bank staff. NHS Grampian provide 24hr nursing care at Edenholme Care Home.
Vice chair of Aberdeenshire Council’s Social Work and Housing Committee Councillor Raymond Christie added: “If you are passionate about supporting and working with older people and are looking to work for an employer that offers a range of benefits then Edenholme would like to hear from you.”
The recruitment and open day is at Edenholme Care Home, Edenholme Crescent, on Saturday, September 12 between 2pm and 6pm.
Staff will be on hand to explain more about the roles and you will be able to fill in an application form, a PVG form and be interviewed on the day as well as a tour round to see where you might work. The home is a purpose built facility that can house up to 60 people and includes eight one bedroom bungalows.
