Local playwright and long standing Stonehaven Ury Players member Russell Adams launched his new poetry book this week with proceeds going to charity.
Russell is no stranger to helping out charities has his last book Mindgames raised over £1200 for CLAN. Russell launched his new book at the Invercarron Resource Centre last Monday, January 25. Profits from the book are going to the Carron Stroke Group affiliated with Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
Russell said: “There was a very enjoyable session where I read some poems from the book and talked with the group about themselves and their support group. The book is an eclectic mix of poems on all sorts of subjects and in varying styles.”
