Public exhibition to consider Mains of Cowie proposals

An exhibition of the Mains of Cowie proposals will be held tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday at Stonehaven Community Education Centre.

Stewart Milne Homes Ltd have given notice to Aberdeenshire Council of its intention to submit a planning application for the development.

The proposed mixed-use development would include residential (up to 400 units), community facilities, a primary school, retail (not exceeding 4,000 sq m gross), petrol filling station, means of access and related infrastructure and landscaping.

The exhibition will be open from noon until 4.30pm, 6 to 8.30pm on Friday and from 10am to 3pm on Saturday.

All written representations must be sent to that address by Friday, April 4, and not to Aberdeenshire Council.

An opportunity to make representations to the council will exist when a formal planning application is made.
