British Transport Police (BTP) is appealing for information after a man used racially offensive language on a train travelling between Stonehaven and Aberdeen on Saturday, October 24 2015.
Between 9.55pm and 10.15pm the man, who got on the train at Stonehaven station and is described as being about 5ft 8 in tall, with short dark hair and olive coloured skin, wearing dark jeans, a maroon top and a dark jacket was reported to have been racially abusive towards staff in the middle carriage of the Glasgow to Aberdeen service.
Sergeant Ashley Forbes, the BTP officer in charge of the enquiry, is appealing for anyone who was on the train and witnessed the incident to contact him.
