Police have renewed an appeal for a missing person who was last seen in Stonehaven.
The last known sighting of Peter Edwards was when he got off of a bus on Barclay Street on Tuesday November 1.
Police Scotland officers investigating the disappearance of Mr Edwards, have said that they continue to have significant concerns for his wellbeing and desperately seek assistance from the public to trace him.
Peter is known to have left his home in Scone on Tuesday November 1. It has been confirmed that he arrived in Aberdeen around 12pm on Tuesday and then took the 2pm bus to Stonehaven arriving at 3.20pm in Barclay Street. His direction of travel after that time is not known.
Peter is described as 5ft 9” in height, balding with a grey beard and sideburns and gold rimmed glasses. He speaks with an American accent. When last seen he was wearing a long sleeved grey shirt, black tank top jumper, tie, grey trousers and black leather shoes.
Given the passage of time since Peter went missing, and the lack of sightings during that time there are real concerns for Peter’s welfare and officers would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or has any information on his whereabouts.
