Stonehaven RNLI Volunteer lifeboat crew helped last night (Thursday 4 June) after a young girl collapsed on the pontoon in Stonehaven harbour.
The crew, who were just finishing their evening training were called to help when the young girl collapsed.
The crew were about to tie the boat up on the mooring and immediately went to her aid. They administered first aid to her whilst waiting for the emergency services to arrive.
When the ambulance crew arrived they went onto the pontoon with the crew. The crew then placed her into the stretcher, and transferred her on to the tractor which had been driven through the water to the pontoon. She was then taken back onto the slip way and transferred to the ambulance crew who transported her to ARI.
