The All-weather facility at Mineralwell is progressing well and is expected to be completed by the end of July, beginning of August.
The sub group tasked with looking at the future of Stonehaven’s Court House Building have had a meeting with the Heritage Lottery Fund in Edinburgh and more information will be available very soon about this exciting project.
STP and Aberdeenshire Council met in the middle of June to continue discussions on how best to take the former gas work site project forward. Contact with SSE is being maintained.
The Harbour Development Feasibility Study draft report has been received. Clarification is required from the Consultants on a number of points. After these clarifications are received the steering group will make recommendations to the STP Trustees then the recommendations and the final agreed report will be made public. At this point the steering group will be disbanded and the recommendations can be taken forward by another community group.
STP are working with a member of the public to establish where to set up long range Wifi routers to improve the connectivity for the Town Centre. Funding is being sought for the routers and their installation.
The next STP trustees meeting will be held at Invercarron Resource Centre at 7pm on 25th August, these meetings are open to the public.

Catterline WRI June meeting
The ladies of Catterline WRI travelled to The Mud House, Logie, Montrose where Joe Wishart made them feel very welcome. He gave a very informative talk about the area and the history of the the house which dates back to 1829. After a tour of the house Joe served a lovely cup of tea and home bakes.
Monthly competition:- Favourite bracelet 1st Mrs E Meston, 2nd Mrs A Gauld, 3rd Mrs A Meston and 4th Mrs I Carnie. Mrs K Irvine gave the vote of thanks and wished everyone a safe journey home.
