Shout! The Mod Musical is heading to Stonehaven Town Hall later this month in the Perth based Ad-Lib Touring Productions debut.
Having had success in Perth as Ad-Lib Theatres Arts, founded by Creative Director Victoria Rice in 2012 the group are looking promote the arts throughout Scotland.
Victoria has created ‘Ad-Lib Touring Productions’ which will make its debut at the Stonehaven Town Hall with two shows on June 26 and June 27 both at 7.30pm.
Promotion for the show states: “Shout travels in time from 1960 to 1970 chronicling the dawning liberation of women. Just as Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Cilla Black and Lulu were independent women with major careers, British and American women were redefining themselves in the face of changing attitudes about gender. SHOUT! reflects that change through the unforgettable music of the time. Created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein.”
