Stonehaven’s Tolbooth Museum is on the lookout for a local person who can work with them over the summer season.

The museum contacted the Mearns Leader to say it was extending its community involvement by offering paid employment over the summer.

The job will entail an 18-hour week, meeting members of the public, answering questions about the artefacts on display and getting involved wih the administration of the museum.

A Tolbooth spokesperson said: “This post would ideally suit a young person who is keen to learn more about their local heritage.

“In the process, they will develop skills that will help in any future career.”
