On Friday May 8, Bervie Youth Project embarked on an evening of live music at the Burgh Hall.

Over 70 local residents enjoyed a fantastic line up from Local Laurencekirk resident Allanah Moar, a solo artist who wowed the Audience with her beautiful voice and her creative song writing.

Next we met a brother and sister act from Montrose who gave us a wonderful Country take on their songs setting the stage for San Diago’s Solo Artist Jenn Grinels who stole the stage and the floor as she mingled with the audience singing acoustic and plugged in versions of her song with a voice never before withnessed in the Burgh hall.

With an audience appetite wetted for more, Colin Clyne and the Carrons gave us a full set with their Americana song writing, great music and vocals, Which added with the expert bar set the scene for a great night all round.

Raffle run for Bervie Youth Project bringing in just under £170 with plans for more music events in the future.

Special Thanks to all artists and organisers for bringing this great experience to the Royal Burgh and please hurry back!

On Saturday May 9, a group of Youth Project members enjoyed a trip to the Tivoli Theatre, Guild Street, Aberdeen to watch the Aberdeen Youth Theatres production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat, pictured are youth project committee members Caroll Evans and Alyson Bodman with a few youth project members.
