New Year greetings to all members, supporters and followers from Brighter Bervie - 2015 looks like being a busy year to build on the successes enjoyed in 2014.
Debbie Ryan’s first residence in Bervie last month got the public art project off to a good start.
Debbie should return this month, to run some workshops for everyone to make features that will be transferred onto the ceramic mosaic sculpture, which she’ll be creating and installing at the seafront during this coming summer.
So, please, get your creative minds working and be involved with Debbie when she arrives to help produce something very special for brightening Bervie.
Weather permitting, the garden volunteers will be busy again this Saturday, January 10, from 10am at the seafront, so please go along and lend a hand.
Expertise isn’t required, but healthy and sociable exercise is guaranteed.
In addition to maintaining the planted areas established last year, an application has been made for some high-profile assistance with other exciting projects.
Fingers are crossed that this work will receive a real boost in the coming months - watch this space for news.
