The Inverbervie Job Club runs every Wednesday from 1 to 3pm at the Church Centre, by Aberdeenshire Council’s Working for Families team, in partnership with Community Learning & Development.
The club is aimed at providing the tools and confidence to help people find the right employment for them.
Why not go along and get advice on CV writing, job searches, telephone or IT skills and interview techniques?
The Inverbervie Job Club can help you with a variety of career paths, including volunteer work, part or full-time work and training.
As well as assisting people to build on their employability skills, the club is open to anybody looking for a friendly chat over tea or coffee with the club’s approachable staff.
A current member of the Job Club, Elaine Morley, said: “As a mum wanting to return to work, I saw the Job Club advertised in Inverbervie and I went along to find out more about what they do.
“I was warmly welcomed by the team and have since returned four times as I find the sessions very positive and productive.
‘‘They have given me lots of good advice about my CV and applying for jobs.
“Since attending the Job Club I have applied for a number of jobs in the field in which I wish to return to work.
‘‘I would recommend going along for a chat to anyone who is looking to enter the job market.”
Come along for some friendly and helpful advice that may help you identify what the right options are for you.
