Fordoun on easy street

fordoun took the lead in the second minute through McComiskie to finish well. Picture House fought back and equalised in nine minutes after a long ball was directed past the Fordoun keeper.

Fordoun were ahead again one minute later when Thomson scored from the edge of the box. In the 18th minute Fordoun extended their lead when McComiskie converted a through ball from strike partner Thomson.

KEDDIE scored a brilliant fourth for Galaxy in the 34th minute when he he hit a shot from 25 yards which the home keeper couldn’t keep out.

The second half was a quieter and more scrappy affair and it was the 56th minute before either team forged a chance with a Picture House attacker heading over.

THOMSON scored a fifth for Galaxy after a great cross from Hector.

With 18 minutes left Davies replaced Norrie. The final minutes saw Fordoun knock the ball about well and the good football crafted a chance inside the box from which captain A Stirling should have scored.

Fordoun put the game to bed with 10 minutes to play when the ball broke to R STIRLING in the box and he showed his brother how to finish.

As time ran out Thomson hit the post when he looked certain to complete his hat-trick and the game finished Picture House 1 Fordoun Galaxy 6.
