Stonehaven funeral directors James McDonald, have teamed up with Portlethen Bowling Club to raise funds and awareness for the cancer support charity CLAN.
CLAN is a well-established, local charity providing emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer, their family, carers and friends.
Services are freely offered to all from pre-diagnosis and diagnosis through treatment and beyond at 11 support and wellbeing centres located across north-east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.
Over £300 was raised during the club’s ‘hat night’ and the winner Margaret Dunbar can be seen pictured receiving her prize, of a meal for two voucher from James McDonald regional manager Neil Herd.
Neil commented that he and everyone else were delighted to raise money for such a worthwhile cause. The business is always looking at ways to support the local community.
