Newtonhill Bowling Club is looking to offer the club facilities for hire and are asking interested groups to get in touch.
Since 1982, Newtonhill and District Bowling Club has played an active part in the community of Newtonhill and surrounding area (which now includes the expanding development of Chapelton).
The Club continues to attempt to attract new members and remains successful in the Kincardine and Mearns League, as well as local and national competitions. In addition to providing bowling facilities for the young and not so young, the Club is also a focal point for monthly Bingo sessions, Burns Supper, target bowls, etc which are open to the general community. As part of the ongoing development of the Club, and in support of the community, the Club intends to make the Club facilities available for hire to suitable groups, at reasonable rates. The facilities comprise of a large room, complete with tables and chairs (with a maximum capacity of 70 persons) which would be ideal for business meetings, training courses, seminars, local groups, etc.
In addition, the facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, cloakrooms and toilet facilities (including disabled toilet). Further details can be obtained by contacting Ann Beaton - Club Secretary on 01569 730269.
