MACKIE Academy badminton players are continuing to have a great season locally and nationally.
The school has won the Aberdeenshire Singles League Trophy for the seventh year in a row, with Scott Murray, Jacob Reynolds, Mark Leith and Kirsty Thomson taking the honours.
In addition, the academy has come out on top in the Crombie League First Division for the fourth year running, with the team consisting of Scott Murray, Scott Duncan, Josh Halliday, Sean Leith, Mark Leith, Matthew Duguid, Stuart Holley, Fiona Craggan and Samantha Holden.
And finally, at this month’s Scottish Schools Quiach finals in Grangemouth, Mackie’s senior team walked away with the title in their section, beating Preston Lodge 3-2, while their junior counterparts just lost out in the final to Auchenlech - a tremendous result for both teams.
