Bellhaven Open Triples Competition was won by Bill Davie, Mike Nevill and John Lawson in a closely-fought final.
It went to an extra end after the triple of Neil Wilson, Willie Neil and John Riddler scored four shots at the final end to level the match.

The Senior Mearns County Team had a good win last Tuesday beating Angus County by six points to one which took them off the bottom of the league at the expense of Bon Accord.
Perthshire still head the league with an unassailable lead going into the last round of matches next Tuesday.

Also on Saturday morning, the Stonehaven Past Presidents will have their annual get together to contest the Stewart Cup and, if the morning follows its usual pattern, reminisce with some refreshments.
