Soccer Sevens Fun Day

saturday saw the Bervie Soccer 7s end of season Fun Day, again blessed with dry weather. The free BBQ as always went down a treat, with burgers, hot dogs & juice. The centre ring had the Penalty Kick competitions plus various football games even involving the parents in some of them.

Around the outside of the playing field was Target Football, Football Golf, Timed Slalom and Beat the Goalie with an ex Soccer 7s kid in goals, Dale Karspinski who was quite exceptional at times. The winners of the various competitions, games and the presentations were well received.

The raffle was also huge success, thanks to all who donated the prizes, it’s great to see all the kids winning, it was also good to see the number of varied donations again this year.
