Aberdeen Arts Centre launches Cinderella

THE curtain went up last weekend on Aberdeen Arts Centre’s colourful Christmas pantomime premiere Cinderella.

Packed full of colourful costumes, catchy songs and the best and worst of pantomime characters, it’s a “must” for all the family this Christmas.

You’ll positively hate the wicked stepmother and you’ll be in stitches at the antics of the ugly sisters. There are some rather cute and cuddly mice, a sneaky cat called Lucifer and the nicest of fairy godmothers you’ve ever seen…..oh not they’re not; oh yes, they are!

Running until December 26, with additional matinee performances on Sundays, several dates are already sold out. And, as an extra incentive for people to come along on a Sunday evening, the Arts Centre have launched a “Super Cinders Sundays” offer, with all tickets priced at only £8 for pre-Christmas Sunday evening performances. Performances included in this offer are December 5, 12 and 19.

This is the first time in over 30 years that Aberdeen Arts Centre has produced its own pantomime and the stage is set for this to be a truly magical event.

Tickets for Cinderella are priced £11 (£8 concession), bookable on www.aberdeenpanto.com. Alternatively please telephone (01224) 635208.
