Limits Allstars Dance & Cheer (colloquially known as LA Dance & Cheer) moved to the premises at Stonehaven’s Arduthie Business Centre in September 2015.

The group is coached by Louise Robertson and her daughter Cherry Masson.

Louise told the Leader that the first year in Stonehaven has been a “great success” at the new gym and that they look to continue that it their second year there.

The success culminated in a trip to Florida to take part in an international competition.

Representing Scotland, they came 12th out of 33 in the 2016 World Cheerleading Championship in the Hip Hop category during April.

LA Dance & Cheer do not just offer hip hop dancing to youths, as they also teach cheerleading, pom dance, jazz and tumbling.

Louise also highlighted the health benefits that youngsters can have from taking up dancing and that “it gives them something to do”. They do not hold auditions for people to take part and encourage anyone to give it a go.
