Members of Ury Players are hard at work rehearsing for this year’s summer production, a French farce entitled ‘Chase Me Up Fardale Avenue s’il vous plait!’
Written by David McGillivray and Walter Zarlin Jr, it is billed as a comedy ‘tres saucy’.
As in all ‘farces’, there is much confusion and things going terribly wrong in the play, which is multiplied by the amateurish antics of the cast from the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society.
The performances take place on the nights of June 16 and 17 in Stonehaven Town Hall.
There will be cabaret style seating in the main hall where refreshments can be brought.
In this area reservations are available. Otherwise, seating is on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are available from the Rose Bowl on Barclay Street for £10.
